Welcome to my website. I am a multidisciplinary artist who works both an abstract painter and a photographic artist.
Based near Devizes in Wiltshire, my work is a celebration of the inherent beauty found in the layers of existence, a testament to the richness of history and the endless possibilities of the present moment.
My paintings are inspired by the textures and patterns made by the endless layers of paint and plaster that are peeled away in the renovations of old buildings. Melding diverse materials including acrylic paint, wood ash, soil and household paint, they are a celebration of the inherent beauty found in the layers of existence and a testament to the richness of history witnessed in the present moment.
